About Me

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY24041) with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. Born and raised in San Francisco, I was in the first graduating class of San Francisco University High School. I graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. with High Honors in English Literature. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Palo Alto, CA.

I am also a single mom of two sons. My parenting and life experience has taught me at least as much as my academic career. There’s a proverb that states, “When we make a plan, God laughs” – it’s humbling to realize how little we can actually control. I understand how much we can love someone and not be able to protect or steer them; I have seen miracles happen when we are able to shift from fear and controlling to believing in others and really “being there” for them.
